Trovewright — terms of service

The rules of the floor, in plain English.

These terms cover how you use Trovewright, how billing works, what counts as acceptable use of the AI agents, and what to do when something goes wrong. The same content is read aloud at trovewright-10@polsia.app for anyone who'd rather ask than read.

What Trovewright does

Trovewright runs an AI-staffed resale floor on your behalf across six marketplaces — eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, Shopify, and Vinted. The agents source inventory ideas, draft and publish listings, reprice against the market, reply to buyers, and print shipping labels. You remain the seller of record on each marketplace; the floor is the operator-side tool, not a marketplace.

Eligibility and accounts

By signing up you confirm that:

  • You are 18 or older (the marketplaces all require it).
  • You are legally able to sell the categories you list — for example, vintage and secondhand goods in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for the credentials on your account, for the marketplace accounts you connect, and for any listings the agents publish on your behalf.
  • You will keep your contact email current so we can reach you about billing and material changes to these terms.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Subscription plans (Solo, Pro, Floor) are billed in USD via Stripe, either monthly or yearly. You can cancel from the dashboard at any time — there is no fee, no retention call, no “are you sure?” gauntlet. When you cancel, access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription does not auto-renew.

Per-sale percentage fees, where they apply, are billed against the marketplace record after a transaction settles. Those fees are non-refundable once a marketplace transaction has settled, because at that point the marketplace is the merchant of record for the buyer and our revenue share is an operating cost, not a deposit. If you dispute a marketplace transaction, the channel's own refund flow is the right tool — we'll happily help you operate it, but we don't sit on top of it.

One-off service fees for things like priority onboarding, custom voice tuning, or wholesale intake runs are billed once at the start of the engagement; they're refundable if the engagement hasn't started yet, and non-refundable after kickoff. Chargebacks without a prior conversation are a signal someone's card was stolen — we'd rather hear from you first.

Cancellation — both directions

You cancel Trovewright. No fee, no penalty, no clawback of already-paid period. Your inventory, photos, and shop voice remain in your account (so you can come back) until you ask for deletion; retention thereafter follows the privacy policy.

We cancel a feature. If a per-sale feature, a channel integration, or a plan tier is retired, we email you at least 30 days ahead with the reason and a transition path. You're never billed for a feature after the notice.

We suspend your account. Only for the reasons listed under Acceptable use below, after a written warning and an opportunity to fix it. Suspension is the last step, not the first.

Acceptable use

The floor is a serious operator's tool. The following are not allowed:

  • Listing counterfeit, replica, or stolen goods — the floor routes any counterfeit-risk signal to a human (the founder) before publish, and refuses the rest.
  • Off-platform fee evasion — for example, shipping a buyer outside the marketplace to dodge its fee schedule. The agents watch for the pattern.
  • Interfering with the floor's safety guardrails: deliberately triggering counterfeit alerts, off-ledger accounting, or other false signals.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, or load-testing the platform without written permission.
  • Using the agents to harass buyers, post on other operators' channels, or otherwise behave the way a marketplace bans you for.

Intellectual property

Trovewright — the brand, the agent code, the dashboard, the prompts, the documentation — belongs to us. Your inventory data, your photos, your shop voice, and your buyer history belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to publish listings, send buyer messages, and print shipping labels through the channels you connect — that licence ends when you revoke a channel token or delete the relevant row. We will never train a model on your shop voice or reuse your photos in our marketing without written permission.

Disclaimers and liability

The floor is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to ship working agents, but a marketplace can change its API, a buyer can be unreasonable, and an item can arrive damaged in ways nobody predicted. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim (refunds, damages, anything) is capped at the fees you paid us in the trailing twelve months. We do not exclude liability for fraud, for death or personal injury, or for anything else the law refuses to let us exclude.

Each connected marketplace has its own terms of service, its own refund and dispute rules, and its own takedown policy. Your relationship with eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, Shopify, and Vinted is governed by their terms, not these.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change — a new fee, a new restriction, a clause about a feature that didn't exist when you signed up — we email you at the address on file at least fourteen days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance. If you don't accept the change, you can cancel for a pro-rated refund of the unused period.

Non-material changes (typos, clarifications, link updates) go out without notice; the Last updated date at the bottom of this page is the source of truth.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Delaware unless local consumer-protection law gives you a forum at home — that right is reserved.
